Why We Built an LLM Platform Around 12-Word Seed Phrases Instead of OAuth

If you sign up for almost any consumer AI product today, you are required to navigate the exact same surveillance funnel: "Continue with Google", enter your phone number for SMS verification, and input a credit card handled by Stripe.

When we designed Rawmind, we started with a radical design constraint: What if the platform literally does not possess the technical capability to know who you are?

The Structural Failure of Corporate AI Identity

The conventional AI SaaS architecture ties your billing profile, IP address, device fingerprints, and prompt logs into a single centralized database row. This creates three critical issues:

• Moralizing Censorship: Foundation models spend half their compute giving patronizing lectures instead of answering legitimate technical queries.
• Data Retention Exposure: Confidential code refactors and private brainstorming sit unencrypted in corporate datacenters.
• De-Platforming Risk: Automated filter heuristics can terminate your access with zero human recourse.

BIP-39 Cryptographic Seed Authentication

To eliminate identity retention while preserving authenticated sessions, we adopted the BIP-39 mnemonic standard—the same standard securing billions of dollars in Bitcoin and Ethereum hardware wallets.

When a user visits Rawmind Unfiltered, the client generates a 128-bit entropy seed converted into a 12-word mnemonic phrase. The server stores only the one-way SHA-256 hash of the derived key. Even if the host database were dumped publicly, reverse-engineering the 12-word phrase from a cryptographic hash is computationally infeasible.

Zero-Retention Streaming Proxies

Our reverse proxy streams Server-Sent Events (SSE) directly from unaligned frontier model clusters (Aion 3.5, Grok 4.7, DeepSeek) with zero conversational persistence on disk. Prompts and completions are piped through memory buffers and vanish the moment the HTTP stream closes.

Direct Crypto-Native Timed Access

Instead of monthly recurring credit card subscriptions, access slots (Hour $2 · Day $7.50 · Week $25) are settled on-chain via Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and USDT. Payer pastes the transaction hash (txid), our verification daemon checks network confirmations, and access is granted without email or KYC.
